An email was sent to our media teacher to show what videos we are analysing, comparing and contrasting with our own media product. How the conventions we confirmed to or challenged related to R'n'B and how our singer compares to or differs to the R'n'B singers who are in the other videos.

Black and white is used to show an alternate reality. Many shots were Beyoncé is in a brassiere to emphasise her sexual appeal and her power as a woman.

Narrative is used however singer isn't acting in the narrative. Singer has  solo scenes were there is unchoregraphed dancing.

Artist singing against a white background and unchoreographed dancing as well as having two solo scenes. Furthermore singer IS acting in the narrative.
